Hello and welcome to my page. I know beginning with a therapist can be a challenging process and feel uncomfortable and daunting. In my practice, I help people sort through the challenges they face and feel a renewed sense of hope. I want to create a non-judgmental space to help you feel seen, heard and safe, and where you can speak honestly about your life confidentially. At the same time, I will assist you in exploring your vulnerabilities and your targeted areas of growth. We all come across a point in our life where we feel stuck. Sometimes life seems overwhelming or difficult and we do not know how to move forward. Asking for help is a challenging and brave step in the right direction.
When I decided to become a psychotherapist, I wanted to help people reach their full potential. That could be by helping you set better boundaries, cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, guilt, or low self-esteem. You may have had a major life event or loss that has shaken your world. Whatever the case, I am here to help. I use a variety of therapeutic methods and techniques such as CBT methods, mindfulness, and psychodynamic methods. I welcome people from all walks of life, ethnicities, and economic backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals. I have experience working with individuals, groups, families, and couples. I provide a full range of therapy services in both English and Spanish. I am currently at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, finishing the Applied Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. I previously earned my Master of Science (M.S.) in Legal and Forensic Psychology from the University of Irvine. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Criminology. In addition to therapy, I continue to gain experience in forensic assessments, clinical interviews, and legal proceedings.
