Dana Grip, Ph. D.
Registered Psychological Assistant PSB 94021325
Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy
I chose to pursue a career in psychology in order to help clients overcome emotional challenges and get greater enjoyment out of life. As a therapist I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families and aim to establish a comfortable environment that supports growth and change. Each person experiences their own unique challenges, and I believe that therapy must be tailored to meet individual needs. I use cognitive and behavioral techniques to address interpersonal and relationship challenges, mood-related problems such as anxiety and depression, and difficulties that stem from medical problems.
I received my undergraduate degree from Barnard College of Columbia University where I studied psychology, history, and elementary education. In my master's degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology I focused on the use of computer information systems in healthcare. I completed my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Washington State University.
I provide evaluations and therapy as a registered psychological assistant (PSB94021325) under the supervision of Dr. Bennett Williamson. I am occasionally able to provide therapy on a sliding scale.
